Dark skinned women are called horrible names, while we may get teased and sometimes bullied for being lighter it’s no where near on this level and we are not as discriminated against because we are lighter. Because at times it’s possible for people to forget or erase our blackness. We have opportunities that women with darker skin don’t have.
